I’ve been wanting to post to let you all know my daughter had her transplant but I couldn’t think of a way to turn it into something more valuable. I’m not waiting anymore for the ‘aha’ to come. On October 12 my daughter underwent a double lung transplant. The surgery was successful but there were some complications. It was a scary experience not knowing what I know now, that she would get over the hurdles one by one. She’s been out of the hospital for a week and we are settling into a routine. She attends physical rehab four to five days a week and is working hard to gain her strength.
i hope to get back to blogging soon!
I am so glad to here that things are getting better and moving forward
